Working draft. This text describes what the app actually does; it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
This text says what Mon Pibou does with your data. It is written from the code, not from a template.
In this version the app runs without accounts: your data stays on your device and never reaches a server.
What is stored on your device
Everything sits in your browser’s local storage. Clear the site data and it goes with it.
- Your skin profile: skin type, concerns, sensitivity, phototype, age range, budget
- Your confirmed contact allergens, if you list any
- Your shelf, your wishlist, your "not for me" list
- Your routine, your check-ins, your skin event notes
- Products you added yourself and the photos you attached to them
- Your display language
Health data
Some of what you tell us (confirmed allergies, skin condition) is health data under GDPR article 9. We use it only to remove or demote products in your results.
We never ask about pregnancy, breastfeeding or medication. Those questions are gone from the app, and any answers already stored are deleted the next time you open it.
We do not diagnose, we do not treat, and we do not predict any medical outcome.
What is switched off in this version
Accounts, cloud sync, referral and remote photo recognition are disabled in the code (privacy-mode.ts). None of them send data.
Photo recognition
It is switched off. No image leaves your device.
Waiting list
If you leave your email on the landing page, that address is stored with a provider in Japan (Tokyo region), separate from the rest of the app. It is used only to tell you when we open.
Japan is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. You can ask us to delete your address at any time, at the contact address in the legal notice.
Deleting your data
On the device: clear the site data in your browser, or use the reset in your profile.
There is nothing to delete server-side because nothing is sent there.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability. Write to the contact address in the legal notice.
You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) if you think your rights are not respected.
